About Me

I started playing drums 17 years ago and haven't stopped since. I learned to read rhythms through piano lessons and marching/concert band in high school. After two years, I became the drum line section leader and band captain. I have always embraced teaching and being in leadership positions. During and since high school, I have played in many bands of varying genres. I attended Belmont University in Nashville and, later, Middle Tennessee State University where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Business.

I moved to Austin in October 2014 to become a full-time musician. I am currently playing with three bands throughout Austin and surrounding areas. I also have extensive recording experience and have multiple albums released.

I truly enjoy mentoring players who have passion to grow their understanding of their instrument. I look forward to working with you!
