What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Learning about song structures in Rock, Blues and Country songs. The majority or chord phrasing and modes in these types of music. Learning how to write melodies, hooks (Words and music). What it takes to get signed or have a song licensed or placed in a library or with an artist.
Formal Education:
Paris conservatory-Piano classical studies (3 years), switched to guitar at age 14.
Private Education:
In LA, not a lot, Jennifer Batten for a little bit some acoustic and bass training with Jamie Faunt... the rest is trust my ears!
Performing Experience:
Roxy, Whiskey, most of Los Angeles Sunset and the Valley clubs. I came to LA in 1982, put together 6 projects, hundreds of hours of studio recording and song production.
Experience Teaching:
not a lot, friends and people I ran into.. . for a little while.
