30+ years experience playing and teaching guitar, bass, and drums from old school country, classic rock and roll,  young country and my metal favs. Can teach sweep picking, alternate picking, and shredding malmsteen style.

From lesson one, you will have something to practice on for years to come



Formal Education:

practicing (makes perfect) alternate and sweep picking techniches for 30 years plus.

Performing Experience:

Have played many years in the Dallas area, including hosting my own open jam session, competed in several guitar competitions, drove from Dallas to Nashville Tenn with a nine piece band to play at the Wild Horse Saloon looking for a record deal.

Experience Teaching:

I have taught many people to play.over the decades From friends,students,and yes even my children who were only thirteen and fourteen when they first performed on stage. We played songs ranging from George Jone's to FREEBIRD. My daughter was only 16 when she took it upon herself to compete in a major drum competition.

My experience with Taylor Robinson has been most beneficial. I enrolled my 8 year old grandson for guitar lessons, leery of the retention of the instructions that are given. However, the instructor has displayed patience, thoroughness and the ability to teach on this level of pupil.
