About Me

As a child, Susan had a strong connection to music and melody. She would freestyle songs and beats. In high school she started taking music more seriously, writing her own material while juggling duties creating projects, events, and the production of her graduating class’ yearbook. In 2006 she went to college and started a brand called “Shining” to showcase her illustration abilities. In school she used free time to work on freelance projects including graphic design, logo production, posters, installations, and murals. She also was actively participating in music production as a vocalist and song writer. In her third year of college she finished her first stop motion project and participated in the GEISAI 2009 exhibition by Takashi Murakami. In 2011 after graduating, her first job was at Light Up recording studios. In 2012 she designed her first App Game “Cacul + Calculator”. As of now, Susan works for one of the largest music record companies in Japan, Avex as an assistant producer. She works with musicians and recording engineers in the studio, at live events, and on anything relating to the field.
