About Me

I am a cellist who is looking to teach private lessons. for cello . I've played for 6 years and have a vast amount of preforming experience. I'm an avid performer, who preforms several church gigs every month, and preformed 5 OMEA solo and ensemble events . I also spent 2 years playing with the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra  and the Youth Philharmonic of Central Ohio.  I am very easy going, but  will challenge students to do their very best. I believe my preforming experience makes me a good candidate to teach cello lessons . And I will have all the resources necessary to help your young musician succeed!

Formal Education:

I am a Franklin Heights high school alumni, and Miami University bound.  I was first chair cellist in the Franklin Heights High school orchestra 

Private Education:

My private lesson teacher is Jennifer Short, who is employed by the Loft Violin Shop. 

Performing Experience:

I've played several church gigs solo and with groups. I also took 5 solo and ensemble events, and all performances earned superior and excellent ratings. I  also played with the Youth Philharmonic of Central Ohio and the Columbus Symphony Youth Orhestra.

Experience Teaching:

I've taught 5 students at the start of 2015. They were all beginner students, and by the end of the year, I got them playing at a high school level.
