I have been a professional musician for over 23 years.  I started my musical experience playing Bluegrass mandolin when I was six years old.  I joined Bill Harrell and the Virginians when I was 14 and did some touring of the south and I started getting serious on the guitar.  I progressed to fiddle playing and also delved into the Celtic scene playing sessions all over New England.   By the age of sixteen I was playing in numerous bands and I started learning electric blues guitar.  

Electric blues progressed into Rock n' Roll and I was deeply hooked.  Jazz and modal theory ensued with my influences being Jerry Garcia and Duane Allman.  I then embarked upon slide blues guitar and have never looked back.  I consider myself specialized in the Duane Allman/Derek Trucks/Elmore James style of electric slide.  

I had a coveted Allman Bros. Tribute band in Boston and in Philadelphia.  Recently I have moved to New Orleans to expand upon my blues and jazz and to work professionally.

I have taught guitar, mandolin and fiddle for many years privately.  I used to work at a violin shop making and repairing violins, violas and cellos.  The shop owner let me give private lessons after hours.  I developed a keen ability to help any who would like to learn.  I am very good at inspiring young students to keep at it and progress.  I love teaching youth the gift of music.
