Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2011. His primary euphonium teachers include Dr. Zachary Collins, and Mr. Noel Kunkle. As a performer, he has played with the Keystone Wind Ensemble under conductors Jack Stamp and Colonel John R. Bourgeois, and can be heard on their CD Tempo di Bourgeois. A member of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia fraternity, Chris performed with the Sinfonia Windsat the 2009 National Convention under director Bobby Adams and composer Frank Ticheli. He was also a semi-finalist in the 2008 International Tuba and Euphonium young artist division. Chris currently teaches elementary instrumental music for the Montgomery County school district.

Performing Experience:
Chris is an active performer in the area, regularly performing with such groups as the Maryland Band Directors Band and the Hagerstown Municipal Band. He can be heard on the Keystone Wind Ensemble album "Tempo di Bourgeois". He is a 2008 Semifinalist in the International Tuba and Euphonium Young Artist division.
