About Me

I am Victoria but I go by Tori. I am from Ann Arbor Michigan and I’ve been singing my whole life. I am passionate about music and teaching. I was in high school band from 5th grade playing flute and then oboe and then English horn. I was in band until I graduated high school. I was in marching band, wind symphony, symphonic orchestra, pit orchestra, and I competed in band festival and solo and ensemble. I understand the fundamentals and the way you play and instrument is the same way you can train your voice. I was in church choir and started training my voice seriously then and from then on I’ve been practicing practicing and practicing. I have a YouTube if you’d like to look just search Tori. I am interested in all genres of music but I typically just play my ukulele and sing along. I like to take songs that wouldn’t normally be played on a ukulele and try to do something more fun with it. I write my own music and perform for my friends. When I taught English in China I always incorporated music into the lesson and that was always my students favorite part of the class and I’d love to continue teaching.
