He began playing drums at the age of 9 and continued his education throughout high-school and into college, attending Berklee College of Music studying music production. His musical influences include Porcupine Tree, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and many others. Jacob's favorite thing about music is the freedom of self-expression and the community it can foster. His favorite thing about teaching music is watching a student develop their own creative voice.
