Hi, my name is Michael and I am a musician from Phoenix. I have been a student of music for 25 years. My musical influences include Classical, Rock, and Pop. My teaching style can best be described as unique. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe music is universal, teaching it is imperative. In my lessons, you can expect to learn exercises, theory, free play, games, and individuality. I like to tell my students to bring the music to life in your own way. My favorite thing about teaching is the "a-ha" moment the student has when something "clicks". My favorite performance has yet to be realized. My students love that I am real and quirky. I primarily teach piano, but I can also teach percussion and low brass. My approach as a teacher is to reach each students needs and discover their potential. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
