About Me

Hi my name is Russell, but everyone calls me Sef! I have been playing bass for 35 + years and my styles are Reggae, Funk, Rock, Jazz and Classical. I studied music at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California. I play electric bass, upright bass, guitar and sing. I teach music theory and performance. I have played thousands of live shows with many different musician’s some famous and some not so famous, but equally talented! All genres of music from Classical to Funk. Some of my students have moved on and done great things in the music world... so about you?
