Approximately 9 months ago, I picked up a flyer in a local guitar store and very nervously dialed the number. The number on the flyer was for a guitar instructor who offered lessons to learn to play from the heart. I wasn't sure what that meant, and I've never been musically inclined, but it sounded like fun and I was ready to try something new.

At that time, I didn't even own a guitar, so I borrowed one from a friend for my first lesson. At that lesson I met a young man, Taylor Robinson, who taught me enough basics that within the hour to strum along with Bryan Adams. Taylor made it simple to understand and fun to play.

Since that first meeting, we've had about 15 lessons, I now own 6 guitars, I can play along with a ton of songs, my 13-year-old daughter has started to play along with me and actually purchased her own guitar last month, and I can't wait to pull songs together and head off to my next lesson with Taylor .

9 months ago, I had no idea what Taylor's flyer meant when it said "play from the heart" I'm starting to get the idea, and it's a blast!!! Taylor's method of instruction is simple to learn and easy to apply. He also has a website that makes it easy to stay connected. I would definitely recommend Taylor and Taylor Robinson Music to anyone who wants to learn to play or to improve their current playing level.
